The problem
Nobody is standing at the cooler. A row sells out mid-afternoon and stays out until somebody happens to walk past, notices, and remembers to do something about it. Every hour in between is a customer who reached for a door, didn't find it, and bought nothing — or bought it somewhere else.
A busy store has six cooler doors and one person on shift. Checking them all, all day, isn't a plan.
Customers don't tell you. They just leave. The first you hear of it is a slow week you can't explain.

How it works
A small sealed camera mounts inside, facing the shelves. It runs on cooler power and joins your store WiFi from your phone — no wiring, no drilling, no computer.
Every five minutes it takes one wide picture of the whole cooler and sends it up. Nothing is analysed on the device, and nothing is stored longer than four hours.
When a row runs out you get a notification naming the cooler and the shelf — not "something's wrong", but which row to refill.

How the detection works
Shelf rails, price tags, glare on the glass — a cooler is a busy picture whether it's full or empty. A generic detector trips over all of it.
You fill the cooler and tap calibrate once. That picture becomes the reference for every shelf in it.
Every later frame is measured against that reference. The rails and the glare are in both pictures, so they cancel — what's left is stock.
Each slot is read in vertical strips, so it knows the difference between a full row, a nearly-gone row, and a bare one.
Different products, different lighting, different cooler — none of it needs retraining, because the only thing it compares your shelf to is your shelf.
The hardware
A wide-angle 1080p camera in a sealed enclosure with a desiccant pack, a mounting bracket, and a power lead. The 130° lens takes in a whole cooler from inside the door, so one camera covers one door top to bottom.
Cold is easy; condensation is what kills electronics in a cooler. The unit is sealed, the window is anti-fog treated, and there's desiccant inside to keep the air dry. Runs on cooler power — the cabinet is already plugged in.

No. The camera mounts inside the cooler with a bracket and runs off cooler power. Setup is done from your phone — you join the camera's own WiFi network once, hand it your store network, and that's it.
If it has shelves and a door, yes. One camera covers one door. It doesn't care what brand the cooler is or what's on the shelves — cans, bottles, cartons, jars all work, because it compares your shelf to a picture of your own shelf when full.
The camera keeps taking pictures and holds them until the connection is back, then sends them. If it stays offline, the app shows the cooler as offline rather than pretending everything's fine.
No. It takes one still photo every five minutes, pointed at the inside of a cooler. Photos are deleted automatically after four hours. It isn't a security camera and won't work as one.
Once calibrated, an empty row is unmistakable — a bare shelf looks nothing like the same shelf full. Telling "nearly out" from "fine" is harder, and we'd rather tell you a row is running low a little early than let it sell out silently.
